Soap and Water
The elders were asked to dinner by one of their investigators. When they sat down at the table, one of the missionaries, who was a germ fanatic, noticed that the dishes were the dirtiest that he had ever seen.
"Were these dishes ever washed?" he asked the investigator, running his fingers over the grit and grime.
The investigator replied, "They're as clean as soap and water could get them."
Relieved, but still a bit apprehensive, the elders blessed the food anyway and started eating. It was really delicious and they said so, despite the dirty dishes.
When dinner was over, the man started clearing the table. He took the elder's plates outside and yelled, "Here Soap! Here Water!"
